15 Days of Valentines!! Day 12

Day 12! What have I got for you today? well this one reminded me of a gorgeous bouquet of flowers Pink and Orange.  This was the same watercolor technique that I used a few days before.

The orange I used was In My Back Pocket by OPI and the pink is Fantastic Fushia from China Glaze.  I've added a complete nail of loose sparkles on top of my pinky as well. Reminds me of a mermaid tail.
Dont forget to check out what Amanda did for day 12!

15 Days of Valentines!! Day 11

Day 11 of Amanda and I's 15 days to Valentines... I have today not the best heart drawings but I tried. (These were painted on my left hand... but I'm left handed...) HA.

This was pretty simple, I only used 3 colors..A black and white nail base and my trusty Orly nail art in white, black, and red!

15 Days of Valentines!! Day 10

Is valentines already next week?? wow! I wonder what my man is getting me :)

What I have today was something that I stumbled on while looking at Chalkboard Nails. What she called it was a watercolor effect. you can check out hers here... I admire all of her work and when I saw this I just had to try! She did hers so beautifully that it just inspired me to try this out! There is also a tutorial on Beautygeeks which has a video so you can see a step by step of this effect also. Just click  here!!

So what I did for this look was I started off with a pale off white base and let it dry completely. The color on the bottom is Step Right Up from OPI. The purple is A Grape Fit from OPI,the pink is Fushia Fantastic from China Glaze, the peach is Haute as Hello from Essie and last by not least the blue is Electric Beat from China Glaze.

Let me know what you think about this look! I had a great time doing it!

15 Days of Valentines!! Day 9

Sorry for the delay! My back hurt a lot yesterday and after I was done work so I went to bed early...So this is day 9 of myself and Amanda's 15 Days of Valentines Nails!
What I have for you today is a half pink from CND and half black from Orly... I added hearts on two of my nails and little polka dots on the rest. Cute huh?

15 Days of Valentines!! Day 8

My My this 15 days of Valentines is flying right by!!! If you are just tuning in, myself and my friend Amanda are doing our own 15 days of Valentines nails... At work we are always competing with our nails so we came up with this brilliant plan. YAY!

So what I have for you here today is a pink manicure with a steel ball accent nail in silver..

This pink I used is a recent purchase, it is from the new OPI Euro Centrale line that was just released yesterday!!! The color is called Suzy's Hungary Again... I was so excited to get them! I've had them on reserve for over a month now! (perks of being a hairdresser/esthetician)

For the steel balls, these were purchased at Bornprettystore.com and you can check it out here. They are a very reasonable company and if you just want to play around its the perfect price. They came in 12 different colors, and so far I just LOVE them.

Let me know what you all think of them!! Thanks for following my blog and commenting!

What do we have here! I have V tips in O'hare and Nails look Great! from OPI with little white and red Polka-dots in the same V shape. I don't usually leave half of my nail bare, just because of the stains I have on my nails... (from work and wearing too much polish!) But I think that this looks awesome! Turned out great!!

What do you think of these nails? Let me know!

15 Days of Valentines!! Day 4

Hello Hello!!! Today is the Day 4 of our 15 days of Valentines that myself and my friend Amanda are doing!
She did a version of an X's and O's manicure of her own, so this is my funky version of it! I've been using Essie's Silken Cord for a lot of these but it is such a sexy Reddish/Pink for Valentines Day. This manicure is very simple to do, when your basecoat is dry ( the ring finger is French Affair by Essie) you casefully draw on some X's and O's with red, black and light pink! And voila!!!  Hugs and Kisses!!!

I'd love to see your version of a hugs and kisses manicure! Let me see what you can do!

15 Days of Valentines!! Day 3

The days are just flying by. Work goes by so fast and before you know it you're in bed ready to do it all over again! Wow was a great week, the boss was on vacation and the atmosphere at work is more relaxed. Was nice :). The weather can be a little warmer but I won't complain about something we cannot change!

So day 3 of our 15 days of valentines nails! So for you today I have CUPCAKES! Who doesn't love cupcakes. This was my first time trying cupcakes on nails. I guess these days I'm trying a whole bunch of new things!
I used Essie's silken cord as my background color and then used my dark purple and white to make my cupcakes from Orlys nail art.
Let me know what you think of them! Thanks for everyone who follows my blog. And please spread the word. I love all my followers and admirers :)
Have a great Saturday night everyone!
