This color just shines so many colors! I just love it. This is Prism from china glaze and I have to say they really never came out with something similar. It's a shame it's a beauty!!! 

Water decal & hot and spicy!

Hey everyone! So these nails are just something quick that I threw on last night. My water decals were a little short for my long nails this time so the tips look a little funny. I chose my lovely orange, hot and spicy from the OPI Hong Kong line. I realized I haven't had an orange mani the whole summer!! Not like me. I love orange! Ill get a few more in before Halloween anyway :). Let me know what you think! 

Alcatraz...rocks!

Hey! So I've been reading that this is the textured nail polish that you need to own! And I got to say its pretty nice. I don't usually like these textured polishes but this one reminds me of jeans! I'd love to try this with top coat!! So this polish is called Alcatraz...rocks! It's so sparkly!!! Check it out!!  Two photos have no flash and two do. 

Black and white leopard water decals

Hey everyone! So I've been waiting forever to do these decals! I was just waiting for my nails to be a good length. And now they are! I bought these on bornprettystore.com. They are 3.99 a pack and you also get colored ones as well. Enough for four manicures. 

I put them on top of a white polish. They are super fun to do. All you really need to do is cut them to the shape of your nails and then peel the plastic off and soak them in water until the pattern slides off the back paper. Very simple. 

But when I did it I was alright with 9 and my last one came off on the plastic instead of the paper so... I have one colored cat nail. Hahah. Looked weird just leaving it white.

Quarter of a century

Well I think I anxious for fall to be here already! As fun as summer is with all the bright colors I miss the deep ones. I'm a fall baby so I look great in darker colors. So for today I have a deep red which was too pretty to even try to put some art on top. I think everyone needs a red in their collection!!! Enjoy!

This time my base is black and white stripped with red going in the opposite way. Topped it off with silver sparkles! 

Balloons!

Hello everyone!! I was just sitting here watching a movie and I wanted to try out doing balloons tonight!!! Well I got to laugh because the top blue one on my middle finger reminds me of Cookie Monster. Lol. Plus I think I didn't make them fat enough. Oh well. Not too bad for my first attempt at doing happy balloons!!

Red white and black!

So this is my second polka dot manicure since I've been home from vacation! I used my Essie silken cord red and alpine snow from OPI. I used my Orly nail art in black white and red to make the polka dots!! Another fun manicure!!!

I think I must be on a polka dot kick. Today I have for you tiny white polka dots on top of eurso euro by OPI.

You're such a Budapest from OPI , first timer by Essie and In the Cab-ana by Essie are my chosen base colors today. I applied a thin layer of Snow Globe by China Glaze over all of my nails before I placed my polka dots on top. Something fun for the weekend!!! 

Pinks in the sun

Hey! Sorry for the pause. I've been on vacation in Cuba! With some friends and my boyfriend. We haven't been up to much since we've been back. I've been watching my seasons of fringe I have on DVD and catching up on my reading. I'm happy doing both! But I will need to get back into doing my nails. It's back to work on Tuesday and I need to show them off. 

For the meantime I have these pink nails I've done. I was having a brain fart for patterns so it's a simple one this time.

Mel and Andrews engagement party!

We had our close friends engagement party on June 30th and I just wanted to share with you my nails! I wore a gold and black dress so I matched my nails with black and gold and a wizard of oz sparkle! Was a super fun night! Gotta love when you can get dressed up ! 

Oranges!

Hey sorry I've been away. Just super busy with work and planning our vacation to Cuba. Plus there's a few parties here and there so I've been taking my photos just haven't had time to post. 

So I bought some fruit slices from bornprettystore.com and this is what I came up with. I don't think that they are sliced thin enough. Just because I had a hard time not to pick it off. They bumped

Out way too much that half of it stuck straight off my nail. Disappointing but ill give them another shot. 

The rest I was playing around with orange and pink. Hope you like! 

Rainbow nails

Nail Party!

This monday night that just passed I threw a nail party at a friends house and 4 of our friends came! 

The evening started off with sushi and 2 bottles of wine, then an ice cream cake and then the nail fun! So by the time I actually got to painting nails it was after 8pm... Long night. 

So lets start with Andie!!! She was super simple. She already has gel nails so we just added Hello Kitty Nail Decals. simple, simple. 

Next up we have Melanie... 

Now I wanted to do a chevron nail on her and unfortunately it didnt turn out. I did it with tape when I should have done it free hand. Note to self for next time....

She had one multi colored ring finger done, along with a zebra thumb, a square nail gem index finger and a cupcake pinky!!!

Next we have Lori... If you know Lori she loves purple.. always purple... I'm going to have to do something green or orange one day! Just to throw her out of her comfort zone... 

She did a zebra nail, giltters, stripes and leopard print.  All in purples. 

Last but not least we have Amanda. This girl loves to give me difficult things to do... I love doing nail art but I will never say I'm the best... Anyway I attempted to do what she wanted and came up with this...

Purple Abstract nails by me!

Hey! I have to start getting in the habit of blogging more often, I really don't know how people blog everyday. I just get my photos ready and then I pray that I don't forget to blog! Which in most cases is all the time.

So today I wanted to do a small collage of different patterns on all my nails and I came up with these.

I have glitter, stripes, polka-dots, sparkles and water decals. The color theme was Purple, Grey and Black.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been around a lot... The weathers been muggy and grey and I haven't been inspired by anything! Works been alright and allergies haven't been the best either. God I love summer! That's a joke lol.  

Well I purchased a big amount of water decals and this was my first attempt to try them. You can check these guys out at bornprettystore.com.

I topped these over highlight of my summer by china glaze to get the nice contrast :) super easy to do.  All you gave to do is place it in water for 15-20 seconds and you will feel it slide off the paper backing. Wet your nail so that you can slide it into place more easily. Top it with top coat when dry and simple as that! Have fun everyone!
